April, the month I got it together as far as a theme goes. Take a look at my April flip through to really see the progression month over month when it comes to my bullet journal. Taking the time to find out what works really makes the difference and here was my prettiest month yet!

As mentioned in my February flip through, I am fox obsessed. This month I wanted to incorporate that into my theme! I went with some geometric foxes then some woodland weekly spreads then threw in some pokemon and Disney for fun.

So without further ado, take a look

April: Fox Theme

April Flip Through Calendar

April monthly calendar featuring my first geometric fox and some wonderful fabric washi tape that I’ve been using through out my bullet journal.

Geometric fox

This is the first month that I did a full page for gratitude and I thought that this little flowered fox and the pink floral fabric washi tape worked perfectly. I added my habit tracker, task list and a quote on the 2nd page of this spread. Keeping with the flowers I found this picture of a fox with a flower for an ear and used it as inspiration for my second fox.

The first week of April I tried out arrows and flags for the days and really liked making each arrow different. I liked this minimalistic vibe through this week.

First, half of the month goals! I had meal idea, grocery and to-do lists along with my recruiting and earning graphs with orange being my accent colour of course.

The 2nd week I did acorns and oak leaves to stick with the forest vibe. Again I think it turned out great in a minimalistic way.

I went a little crazy with my third week. Trying out a vertical spread for the first time I drew pictures of Vulpix. I picked different positions for the top of each day then added my goals boxes and daily to dos. So cute!

If you like this pokemon spread check out my June Flip Through for more!

Next (of course) is Ninetails- building on the vulpix spread. Added a quote to this goal page and threw my lists in the top right of this spread

Todd and Vixey Fox Theme Spread

For the final week of April I drew a scene from the Fox and the Hound. Where Todd first sees Vixey. I drew big versons of the flower that Todd gave her to out my dates on. This was the first time I didn’t have straight boxes for my days. I think I ended up with space for everything and it was a welcome break from my rigid self.

That’s all for my April flip through. I really liked getting to explore my drawing skills a bit more and doing it with my favourite animal in different styles. This layout gave me some of my favourite drawings so far and I’m excited to keep building this skill!

*You might notice some slight blurring on a few of the spreads. This is because I blurred out the names of some of my clients to protect their privacy. Thanks for understanding!
