Bullet journals take some commitment. This is especially true at first when you’re trying to develop the habit. And if you’re new to planning or time management, it can be downright scary. But I have an alternative to draw your attention to today, The Wundertastsch Journal.
Many of you who visit my website are aspiring bullet journalers. That, or people who’ve started but are having a hard time finding your groove and sticking with it consistently. If
Starting a bullet journal can be hard
Now, I love my bullet journal. That’s definitely not a secret. But it certainly takes a certain amount of commitment to keep up with, so I get it. When I was starting my first journal it was so hard to figure out where to start. And there was always this voice in the back of my mind saying, what if it’s not good enough or I don’t like it? What if I don’t have time to set up my week?
I think that the hardest part about the bullet journal is the struggle between it being pretty and being functional. Many people feel like they can’t make it visually appealing, plan and have time to do the things they write down. Now, I’m not saying that’s true. I don’t think that you need to have a ton of supplies, be a creative genius or a time management guru to be a bullet journaler.
You can be a bullet journaler as long as you have some paper and a pen. Although, there is no denying that a nice looking spread will usually have you wanting to use it more often. The more cringe-worthy pages in my own journal have me closing it way more often than layouts I’m proud of creating.

The Wundertastsch Journal is also a great intermediary for when you’re getting used to the system. I’ve heard this from many of the students who have taken my free intro to bullet journaling course: “It’s so hard to start since there is no framework or a true guideline to get started with”.
That’s the best and worst part of the method if truth be told.
It’s the best since you have endless possibilities for what you want it to be. But it’s the worst since figuring out where to start when you have zero
